Atlas Software will present a pre-released version of Printshop Web, a web-to-print system.

Scheduled for public launch on July 1, the new system will deliver complete integrated promotional printing and web publishing.

Printshop Web automation will effectively manage promotional printing workflows, streamline customer interaction and combine the benefits of variable information with on-demand printing.

According to Atlas Software, designers will be able to publish any kind of promotional document as a template to the web, whilst print buyers will also be able to order templates on-line at any time, complete with populated content.

As a result, print providers will also be able to automate and standardise their workflows to become full service providers.

New capabilities for Printshop Mail will help users streamline workflow and improve turn-around, claimed Atlas.

Visitors to the Variable Data Printing Centre at Ipex 2006 will see a new version of Printshop Mail for Macintosh systems to drive higher printing speeds and includes new features, such as pre-flighting, imposition preview and vertical printing.

A new Windows version includes expressions (re-use of variables), an improved GUI with hidden properties panel and output speed improvements.

Free Printshop Mail training modules are now available from the Atlas Software's website.
