Printshop Web is claimed to be an affordable web-to-print system for companies aiming at increasing print production efficiency and expanding print-related services in to the virtual world, said the company.

Atlas added that document designers can publish document templates to Printshop Web, whilst print buyers can access their own secure area from the web, select a document template and fill or upload their data in real-time, from anywhere.

At the same time, the company said that print providers can automatically receive order requests and can streamline interactions with customers through automated order management processes.

Printshop Web is also geared to versioned and variable data printing, is claimed to be easy to install and implement and can be connected to other systems.

Atlas added that the product is equipped with free designer software.

The company added that Printshop Web has been developed to fill the gap in the entry-level side of the web-to-print market space and it is fully integrated with Atlas's Printshop Mail.

According to Atlas Software, there is a demand for an affordable, flexible web-to-print system that can be can easily deployed and operated.

Besides small to medium sized print providers in the business-to-business segment, Printshop Web is also suitable for enterprises that want to produce personalised documents at their own facilities.

The company added that as with Printshop Mail, the key differentiator of Printshop Web is its ease-of-use.
