The Momentum Pro workflow system and the Dimension450 Excel-Autoloader CTP system will be launched and demonstrated by Presstek at the Digital Print World exhibition in London (UK).
Momentum Pro Integrated PDF is said to be a fully-integrated RIP and workflow system designed to streamline and automate the production process using certified PDF tools According to Presstek, the workflow can be used as a centralised PDF creation and pre-flight system, ensuring consistent output to multiple devices for small to mid-size printers

On stand 146 at Digital Print World, Presstek will also show the Dimension450 Excel-Autoloader, which is described as a new plate-loading automation feature for the company's four-page thermal computer-to-plate (CTP) platesetter system.
The Dimension450 Excel-Autoloader is said to be a cost-effective, automated plate loader that is fully integrated with the Dimension450 and mounts up to 20 pre-punched plates for continuous operation.
The Autoloader enhances imaging productivity, allowing continuous chemistry-free plate making at a claimed speed of 17 plates per hour.
Hillhouse explained: "The Dimension450 Excel-Autoloader streamlines the workflow with its automated, chemistry-free and daylight safe CTP plate loader, helping to increase productivity and capacity." Presstek said it will take orders for Momentum Pro and Dimension450 Excel-Autoloader during Digital Print World.
The company will also highlight its 34DI portrait format digital offset press, which is claimed to provide automation and fast turn-around for the fast growing small to medium run four-colour market.
It images all four plates simultaneously on-press and produces up to 7,000 high quality printed sheets an hour, added Presstek.
