Albo System has delivered a pile turner designed especially for handling of bank notes to De La Rue Currency in the UK.
Albo System said that its pile turners have proven to be efficient when handling difficult light paper.
Bank note paper is even more difficult as there is more advanced technology around security printing than normal commercial printing.
At the same time, as bank notes go through the printing process many times production time can be cut when using a pile turner for separation and pile alignment.
The Banque de France order is a result of a Albo System's focus on long-term relationships with customers and distributors, said the company, which cooperated with its French distributor Ofmag Installec for this latest project.
