Banque de France has bought another pile turner (skid turner) from Albo System to decrease time spent on complex material handling.

The latest pile turner is the third of the aerator and jogger type of pile turners that Albo System has supplied to Banque de France, which got its first Albo System pile turner two years ago The bank is printing Euro bills in France and the latest Albo System pile turners are used for sheet separation and alignment of the piles

Albo System said that its pile turners have proven to be efficient when handling difficult light paper.

Bank note paper is even more difficult as there is more advanced technology around security printing than normal commercial printing.

At the same time, as bank notes go through the printing process many times production time can be cut when using a pile turner for separation and pile alignment.

The Banque de France order is a result of a Albo System's focus on long-term relationships with customers and distributors, said the company, which cooperated with its French distributor Ofmag Installec for this latest project.
