With 20 years of print management experience, Trevor Weldon has been appointed by Accessplus as group business development director.

Weldon is now responsible for new business development, which includes increasing product portfolios for clients and the development and expansion of the group's sales force In addition, as an executive director, he is also a member of the TripleArc Group executive steering committee and group's operational board

There he was responsible for leading the sales team and for negotiating contracts with a variety of organisations and government departments.

Before that he was sales director for Boise Cascade, which was acquired by Gilbert Niceday.

Weldon said: "The Group has a strong vision and a dedicated and enthusiastic management team.

I was truly impressed by the its passionate and driven approach to expanding its technological, business communication and print management service through Accessplus.

I believe that it has a uniquely consultative and bespoke product for the market and I am pleased to be on board to help develop this further." The company believes that Weldon's strength lies in helping organisations to identify their business requirements by implementing the necessary print management and business communications tools that will enable them to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

And Weldon added: "There's a huge amount of scope for technology, business communication and print management.

There are many organisations that have yet to experience how these products combined with effective consultation can reduce costs but are keen to explore the benefits of outsourcing all of their print and marketing communications requirements to a single provider." Jason Cromack, chief executive of TripleArc and Accessplus, explained: "The appointment of Trevor Weldon is of great significance and very positive for the group.

Trevor brings with him many years of experience having worked with industry heavyweights to build their propositions.

His role will sit across both TripleArc and Accessplus to maximise consistency and to expand both companies' services.

As a driven and innovative organisation, we are continually looking to develop and strengthen our business approach and management team." He added: "Trevor adds a new dynamic to the organisation and with his previous leadership skills, supports our desire to expand our sales force and market share.

Recruiting experienced and dedicated people, such as Trevor, maintains our dedication to customers and to penetrating new markets.".
