What is claimed to be the most comprehensive offering of systems for in-house production and application of RFID labels is now available from Avery Dennison Printer Systems.

What is claimed to be the most comprehensive offering of systems for in-house production and application of RFID labels is now available from Avery Dennison Printer Systems.

The line-up consists of a high-speed print-and-apply RFID labelling system, a high-speed, apply-only RFID labelling system and a high-speed bench top system.

They are designed for rapid set-up and integration into existing or new packaging, labelling and shipping operations.

They are available for fast delivery, backed by global RFID compliance consulting services and available with warranty and equipment management contract options said Avery Dennison.

With its full-line RFID printer and in-line application systems, Avery Dennison Printer Systems believes it is bringing a range of easy-to-implement options to companies facing retailer and government-imposed RFID mandates.

The systems are said to be able to serve as dedicated in-house high-speed RFID label printing facilities or to be used in conjunction with Avery Dennison RIS' RFID Ticket Express global service bureau.

RFID Ticket Express supplies pre-printed and pre-programmed RFID carton and pallet labels.

According to Mark Hansinger, marketing director for Avery Dennison Printer Systems, the RFID printer and application product offering addresses marketplace concerns about meeting compliance requirements and the complexities of integration associated with using multiple vendors.

"To management in manufacturing, logistics, transportation and distribution centres responsible for RFID compliance this means that a knowledgeable and capable ally is near.

Our prime objective is helping organisations to efficiently meet RFID compliance labelling requirements.

Our aim is to partner with customers, understanding their needs, and then responding with RFID label printing and application solutions that will meet their needs" said Hansinger.

Hansinger noted that systems have been shipped, installed and are operating successfully at multiple customer manufacturing locations.
