Affinity Express, the provider of outsourced graphic services has appointed Frank Dickinson as chief technology officer.

In his new role, Dickinson will be responsible for developing and implementing the technology vision for the company, including strategy, product architecture, systems design and management, infrastructure planning and software development.

He will report directly to chief executive officer James Daleen.

Daleen said: "Technology is core to the delivery of Affinity Express services today but it will become even more pivotal as we penetrate and dominate new target markets according to our aggressive growth plan for the next five years.

As clients look to us for leadership in graphics services, Frank's expertise will be critical to executing the technical strategy that will enable us to meet and exceed their expectations.

I'm delighted to welcome him to the team." Dickinson has 14 years of diverse experience in research and development, project management, software design, rating and billing, marketing and technical team building.

Prior to joining Affinity Express, he was the senior vice president of marketing and product management at Viziqor Solutions.

He also served as chief operating officer of Daleen Canada, an acquired Canadian company where he focused on the development of next-generation products for on-line bill presentment and customer care.

Previously, he was vice president of development for Daleen Technologies and led the design of products that helped double revenues and contributed to the company's initial public offering in 1999.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer and systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
