Agfa Monotype Brings Cool
Agfa Monotype Font Collection Unveiled for Download.
Agfa Monotype Corporation has released the Cool Fonts and T.26 font collections on Fonts.com, adding nearly 1,800 font products to the site.
Both sets can be previewed and purchased from Fonts.com's library page, accessible from the 'Font Packs' section on the front page of www.fonts.com.
The Cool Fonts collection contains 27 fonts, six typeface families and one font package called Grunge Pack, a title that characterises its five specimens.
Many of the collection's stylistically intense designs are described by Cool Fonts as grungy.
Typefaces include Overexposed, with letterforms that suggest the look of overexposed film, and Goombah, a cosmic, retro design inspired by 1960s space cartoons.
Cool Fonts are available in PostScript and TrueType formats for Macintosh and Microsoft Windows platforms.
Individual fonts can be purchased for US$24.
T.26 represents Fonts.com's largest collection available for download.
The assortment totals 1,754 fonts, including family volumes, with styles ranging from progressive and alternative display designs to more subtle and traditional text faces.
Among the more popular T.26 typefaces are Uncle Stinky, found on much of Taco Bell's packaging, and Mata, a sleek and modern squared sans serif display face.
Fonts are available for Macintosh and Windows platforms in PostScript and TrueType (Windows only) formats.
Prices for individual T.26 fonts begin at US$22.
"The Cool Fonts and T.26 font collections add diversity to the impressive selection of design-quality fonts on Fonts.com," said Allan Haley, director of words and letters at Agfa Monotype.
"We are proud to witness the growth and success of Fonts.com as it establishes a reputation for providing the Internet's best service and selection.".
