Impress an international canmaker and the second largest European supplier of food cans, has installed a new CTP system at its Norwich (UK) site.
Impress was looking for a digital colour proofing system that could link to its workflow.
When it came to printing on metal, however, the company questioned whether a colour print could serve as a colour-matched proof.
The company was already using Agfa's ApogeeX as its workflow system, so Impress put the Agfa Grand Sherpa to the test to produce a paper proof suitable for matching colour for metal packaging.
According to Agfa, the Grand Sherpa rose to the challenge, enabling Impress to obtain a complete contract proofing system for metal printing.
