Stand G4 at Digital Print World will see Ashgate Automation launch two products built specifically for the digital market.
"They've worked very well for us and the short run, fast turn-around digital side of our business is growing faster than the litho side.
At the time we didn't buy any new finishing equipment but we soon realised that a digital card creaser was essential because digitally printed material has a tendency to crack when it is folded.
We went to an exhibition this year specifically to look at what was on the market and saw the Crease Matic being demonstrated on the Ashgate stand," explained Peter Millrain, Beaumanor's managing director.
Millrain added: "The Crease Matic 150 was the simplest machine with a very quick set-up at a competitive price.
We saw no point in paying more for a highly automated model because most of our jobs are very short run of up to 500 sheets, which can easily be hand fed.
Since we've had it, the finished quality of our booklets and leaflets has been so much better.".
