Ashgate Automation will be exhibiting the KAS Crease Matic 150 programmable card creaser and the Kasfold Sprint 3000 bookletmaker on the KAS Paper Systems' stand - F20, hall 2.

The Crease Matic CM 150 has been designed for the short to medium run digital print market to fill the gap between desk-top card creasers and the fully automatic suction feed models currently available.

With its compact footprint, it is claimed to be capable of delivering quick and reliable creasing results and at around half the cost of the current auto feed models on the market.

Up to 2,000 sheets an hour can be stream-fed by hand.

The operator can programme up to nine creases per sheet on card from A5 to SRA3 and six-page A4.

Up to five regular creasing jobs can be programmed in the memory function, which is fitted as standard.

The crease positions can be edited should the layout of the job change, said Ashgate Automation.

The Kasfold Sprint 3000 bookletmaker with on-line trimmer will be shown folding, stapling and lead edge trimming books in A4, A5 and A6 finished sizes.

Its features include flat clenching, double side jogging for alignment of sheets and the facility to use 44 gauge heavy-duty staples.
