Ipex 2006 saw the launch of the latest model in the Crease Matic range manufactured by KAS Paper Systems and distributed in the UK by Ashgate Automation.
The Crease Matic 150P is claimed to offer digital printers two functions in one machine.
The new rotary perforating unit is installed just after the matrix creasing unit, allowing customers to perforate anywhere along the sheet.
That, in addition to creasing digitally printed stocks, is said to prevent cracking of the toner or ink when the sheet is folded.
