Drupa 2008

Each one of Alwan's four software products at Drupa 2008 within the Alwan CMYK Optimizer product range is claimed to enable all parties along the production line, from design to print, to guarantee the colour accuracy, predictability and reproducibility of their work, whilst ensuring optimum production further down the line.
KEE Consultants, the international network of experts offering online and on-site consultancy, training and services exclusively related to ISO 12647 standards implementation and certification, will also participate in the collaboration with Alwan Colour Expertise at Drupa 2008.
The three industry standards' advocates will offer a one-stop information centre featuring their complementary products and services on Alwan's stand.
KEE Consultants is an international network of consultants accredited by Ugra to provide ISO 12647 standardisation services in Europe and on an exclusive basis in France and in the UK.
KEE Consultants offers users, corporations and OEMs a range of online and on-site services, including training, seminars, audits, preparation for certification, methodology and technical services related to colour and colour reproduction.
Elie Khoury and Erwin Widmer share a collaborative history, and their respective organizations were among the first in the mid-nineties to have promoted Standards and ISO 12647 implementation.
Elie Khoury, the president of Alwan Color Expertise and chairman of KEE Consultants, commented: "Our partnership and participation within ISO TC 130 and in the market have contributed to create the current awareness about the necessity for the graphic industry to implement standards and aim for ISO 12647 certification.
