Lloyds TSB Document Services and Print Services held a 24-hour cycling challenge at the bank's print centre in Crawley, West Sussex (UK to raise GBP1,807 for Marie Curie Cancer Care ).
Core suppliers were invited to support the event by sponsoring teams of riders and Anacomp contributed a donation as well as team T-shirts and champagne for the riders.
Other sponsors included Emtex, Pitney Bowes and IBM.
A single exercise bike was used throughout the 24-hour period with four sponsored teams each riding in relay sequence for a total of six hours each.
The objective was to accumulate the highest possible mileage with prizes going to the team and the individual who covered the most distance.
Over the 24 hours the 23 riders clocked up 626.61 kilometres almost reaching Edinburgh on the virtual journey from Crawley.
Whilst the Lloyds TSB riders were on their virtual journey towards Scotland, the Anacomp team was also busy providing maintenance cover on Lloyds TSB's production printers.
Whilst the relay was in progress, other fundraising activities took place, such as car washing at GBP5 a time, unwanted items were sold on eBay, and tea and home-made cakes were sold to onlookers.
In addition, several sweepstakes were run on the total distances covered by teams and individuals with prizes donated by the suppliers.
The event came to a cracking conclusion with a four-hour session on 22nd December with six riders putting in personal best times.
