Antalis's New Premises Improve Paper Distribution
Antalis UK is embarking on an investment plan to provide a more efficient distribution to its customers in the London and Manchester areas.
Antalis UK is embarking on an investment plan to provide a more efficient distribution to its customers in the London and Manchester areas.
A new 20,000 square foot warehouse space and 3,000 square foot office space will provide a modern facility for staff to work in and still cater for the key print market in London and the Home Counties.
The new site is located on Imperial Park in Watford, only a short distance from the M1 motorway, said the company.
The site is now fully operational.
In addition Antalis has also acquired a 18,500 square foot warehouse and office facility on Broadfield Distribution Park, Heywood, Manchester, which is due to be fully operational early in February.
Bruce Munro, national sales director at Antalis UK, commented: "These modern facilities not only offer our staff an improved working environment but will enable Antalis to enhance service levels in the key print markets of both London and Manchester, where paper is required at increasingly short notice.
Increased local stocks supported by 12,000 products held nationally for next day delivery will also provide a strong stock offer to support our office stationery customers.
This investment underlines our continuing commitment to improve and develop our overall service in these areas.".
