Film Provides Thick Gloss Without Yellowing

A MacDermid Autotype product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Aug 10, 2007

The Autoflex AP film is now claimed to offer a 0.010-inch thick gloss with reduced yellowness, following improvements made by MacDermid Autotype.

The new, thicker film has been developed to meet changing demands, whilst ensuring the printing of brilliant whites with reduced iridescence, added MacDermid Autotype.

Autoflex AP was developed specifically to provide abrasion resistance and chemical resistance, along with clarity and colour brilliance.

Autoflex AP, which can be embossed, is a hard-coated polyester film, available in gloss and anti-glare finishes in 5ml, 7ml and now in a 10 ml thicknesses.

The new film features what is claimed to be high optical clarity and also provides solvent resistance.
