E-book tackles science of screen printing

MacDermid Autotype has released an e-book entitled 'How to Be a Great Screen Printer', designed to help users understand the science of printing to produce better and more consistent results.

The e-book is downloadable as a PDF and has been written by a team of specialists including Prof Steven Abbott, Tricia Church, David Parker and Anna Harris.

It is divided into sections, covering screen printing theory and common problems and cures, with a focus on issues such as colour shift, exposure and moire effects.

The authors concentrate on explaining how different aspects of screen printing technology can be handled with a scientific and common sense approach.
