Avery Dennison has promoted Lisa Hubbard to the post of technical director for its Roll Materials Europe division.
In her new role, she leads the European product technology and innovation team, which develops adhesives, release systems, face materials and top coatings to provide Fasson-brand products for customers.
Product technology and innovation are a key success factor for Avery Dennison Corporation, said the company and Hubbard's European team intimately collaborates with sister organisations in North America and Asia Pacific to create global products for customers and to identify and develop new and emerging technology.
Lisa Hubbard joined Avery Dennison in 2002 as product development project leader at the corporation's Fort Wayne, Indiana (USA) facility.
She moved to Europe in 2005 to take up the post of R and D manager for facestock development and analytical services for Roll Materials Europe in Leiden (The Netherlands) where in her new role she continues to be located.
Avery Dennison added that Hubbard has a distinguished career with companies in the paper industry in a variety of functions - from field sales through operations, product management, to technical service management and R and D.
She has a bachelor of science degree in printing marketing with paper science and engineering from Western Michigan University and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.
