Atomic MK, has won the award for best printing of direct mail in the Printing World Awards.

Atomic MK, has won the award for best printing of direct mail in the Printing World Awards.

The judges said they were impressed with a pop-up bull mailer that was created for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM).

Arthouse, MLIM's in-house design team, produced the graphics and Atomic MK said it produced an intricate bull that rises up when the mailer is opened.

Other entries from the company were its atomic blowfish and the Chimera art exhibition invitation.

The award, sponsored by Hewlett Packard, recognises the growth in direct mail, as well as increasing excellence in printing.

The judges looked for pieces that worked as commercial pieces of print and also direct mail that was transactional and interactive.

Atomic MKs' marketing manager, Jennifer Deacon, said: "Winning this award is great for Atomic, as we work on lots of innovative direct mail projects for clients and it's fantastic to be recognised with this way.".
