A preview of the Augend F16 digital inkjet press was for many dealers the highlight of the day said Augend.

Patrick Wilhelm, sales manager of Tagswiss AG, Augend's distributor in Switzerland, commented: "This impressive machine is very promising and features a highly innovative concept and technology.

I am convinced that market response will be positive.

We are excited to present it to the Swiss market." Luc Teblick, managing director and one of the Augend Technologies founders, opened the meeting by explaining the background and evolution of the company.

He said: "We continue our proven strategy of optimisation and technological innovation.

We continue introducing new and enhanced models of wide-format printers adapted to address specific needs and applications in the sign market, and we are the first of a kind introducing the F16 digital ink jet press, which is only the beginning of more exciting developments." The wide-format digital printing range consists of the Augend Xplorer II, the Xplorer IIs the Xtream25s+, the Xtream32s+, the Xpert+ and the XteriusUV - featuring different widths and sizes for a variety of applications in the indoor and outdoor advertising markets, such as billboards and textile printing.
