Round-the-clock visibility on the road - using both reflective and non-reflective self-adhesive marking films - is the best way to maximise the value of commercial vehicle graphics.

Round-the-clock visibility on the road - using both reflective and non-reflective self-adhesive marking films - is the best way to maximise the value of commercial vehicle graphics The use of reflectives at night is now also acknowledged - thanks to UN safety standard ECE 104, already ratified in many European countries - to be a significant aid to on-road safety at night

A new range of reflective self-adhesive products from Avery Dennison Graphics Division has been introduced with the dual needs of this demanding market in mind.

Two night-time safety aid products are offered in the new Avery NV range - both of which meet the requirements of the ECE 104 standard.

Avery NV-100E is a seven-year-life cast, conformable PVC which comes with its ECE 104 Class E reference incorporated into the film as a low-visibility watermark.

Available in white and ten ECE 104-approved colours, Avery NV-100E is supplied as standard with a permanent adhesive, but is also available in a five-year-life removable quality, subject to minimum order quantity requirements.

Applications include striping, logos, and computer-cut lettering.

Complementing Avery NV-100E is Conspicuity Tape Avery V-6700.

Fully approved to ECE 104, it carries the official approval watermark.

Specially-engineered for contour markings on commercial vehicles, this micro-prismatic, bright, edge-sealed tape comes in a choice of white, red and yellow in rolls 5.5 cm x 50m.

For round-the-clock vehicle graphics, top choice in the Avery NV range is seven-year-life Avery NV-700.

Highly-conformable and printable using most UV- or solvent-based inks, the product also offers outstanding cutting and weeding properties, and comes in a broad choice of colours: yellow, red, gold, orange, blue, black, green, dark red, new gold, and light blue, as well as white.

Supplied as standard with a high-performance permanent adhesive, it is also available subject to minimum quantity requirements in a five-year-durability removable version.

Applications such as vehicle striping and printed corporate emblems, graphics, and advertisements, and requiring a durability of up to five years, are the target market for Avery NV-500.

This high-gloss cast PVC facefilm, with a permanent adhesive, comes in a choice of white and five colours: yellow, red, orange, blue, and green.

Avery NV-200 is a computer-signcutting product with a urethane facefilm which gives good cutting and weeding characteristics, and, with its permanent adhesive, is designed for jobs requiring a relatively-short two-year all- weather durability.

It is available in the same five colours as Avery NV-500.

All the new Avery reflective products can be used on their own or in combination with Avery non-reflective high-conspicuity Avery fluorescent films for daytime visibility: Avery 900-3 Fluor for long-term markings, or Avery 500 Fluor for short-life promotional messages (up to three months).

Avery reflective films for commercial graphics are available from Avery Dennison Graphics Division distributors throughout Europe.
