Avery Highlights Sign And Display Substrates
The professional portfolio of Avery Graphics products for signmaking and display print will be on show at FESPA 2005.
It is, says Avery Dennison, positioned to be the product in the Avery Multi Purpose Inkjet range that will become the standard choice for short- to medium-life, high-quality outdoor graphics.
It can be printed wide- and super-wide-format inkjet with solvent or eco-solvent inks, and delivers an extensive colour gamut at high print speeds.
Bryan Westgeest, product manager, digital printing, for Avery Dennison Graphics Division Europe, commented: 'We are market leaders in substrates for digital print - and Avery MPI 1900 is, simply, the distillation of all our expertise and experience'.

High Visibility Assured, Day And Night
Round-the-clock visibility on the road - using both reflective and non-reflective self-adhesive marking films - is the best way to maximise the value of commercial vehicle graphics.
Avery MPI 1900 has a gloss white cast 50micron facefilm, which makes it suitable for many demanding applications, such as vehicle wraps, graphics over compound curves, and vehicle graphics over corrugations.
Said Bryan Westgeest: 'The film gives optimal print results, with an excellent colour gamut.
'Even red - the most difficult colour for inkjet - prints brilliantly, even at high speeds!' Trouble-free printer processing is facilitated by the provision of ready-to-use ICC profiles for the printer setting, and handling characteristics are what would be expected of a quality cast film product.
Avery MPI 1900's adhesive's prime feature is its complete positionability until it is squeegeed down on to the substrate, when it becomes permanent.
Full opacity of the applied graphic - even when used for overposting old graphics - is assisted by the grey pigment in the adhesive.
'The cast vinyl facefilm in combination with the two-sides-PE-coated liner guarantees excellent dimensional stability and a first-class finish to any graphic, on any substrate', said Bryan Westgeest, 'and the four-year service life of the film when used with our Avery DOL 1000 overlaminating film or liquid varnish makes it the ideal choice for applications like all-over vehicle wraps and other vehicle graphics, as well as outdoor signage.
'Avery MPI 1900 is the choice that offers the price/performance ratio a professional digital printer needs to keep his customers happy - and keep the competitive advantage'.
Avery MPI 1900 is also available (Avery MPI-A 1900) with reverse-wound cores for use on Arizona printers.
The new film is available now ex-stock from Avery Graphics distributors.
