Visitors to Digital Print World held at Olympia, London (UK) would be able to see one of the latest workflow systems from Artwork Systems.

Odystar, which is JDF compliant and can handle the latest PDF 1.5 format, will be demonstrated in the software developers village, Level 1 - Stand 154.

UK managing director of Artwork Systems Jan Ruysschaert said: "Odystar handles all the typical pre-press requirements involved in digital print.

The software includes an extensive range of pre-press production tools, such as pre-flighting, correcting, advanced trapping, imposition, proofing, screening and printing and also offers ease of integration into existing environments.

It offers a modular solution that can be integrated seamlessly with other manufacturers' RIPs and workflows." Artwork Systems believes that with the increasing importance of digital output as a means of producing work, it is essential to be able to control the flow of data to that device both accurately and swiftly.

Without an automated workflow companies would not be able to utilise the maximum productivity of the printer and the company believes that Odystar is ideal for the market.
