Seminars Detail Packaging Digital File Handling
Following its two-day seminar in Belgium to launch PA:CT - certified PDF for the packaging market - Artwork Systems is to stage two one-day events in the UK.
Delegates at the events will experience interactive demonstrations of Artwork Systems' products, including the latest version of the Nexus 8.3 high-end workflow system with a range of new features, including shuttle job submissions and PDF tools.
Artwork Systems added that the new Odystar 2.5 for pre-press workflow management will be featured, in addition to PA:CT (Packaging:Certified Technology), for secure, trackable PDF processing in packaging applications.
Also featured will be the InPDF and Artconnect Illustrator plug-ins, including trap control, barcode confirmation and certified PDF tracking for Illustrator, as well as Neo, for the editing of native PDF files and Concentric Screening, the company's halftone dot technology.
Webway 4.0, for internet collaboration with remote users, will also be included.
The free workflow automation seminars are said to be suitable for professionals involved in commercial printing and packaging, as well as designers, brand managers and production personnel.
The schedule of seminars includes - August 15 - Minneapolis, Chicago and Charlotte; August 16 - Kansas City, Indianapolis and Harrisburg; August 17 - Appleton, Cincinnati, and Baltimore; August 22 - Lyndhurst, Salt Lake City and Atlanta.
The programme continues on August 23 - Long Island, San Francisco and Tampa; August 24 - Bedford, Los Angeles and Irving.
