Becker, who also serves as chairman of the companys audit committee, is currently chief financial officer of Sylvania Lighting International, a manufacturer of lighting fixtures.
From 2000 to 2004, Becker was vice president and chief financial officer of Sappi Fine Paper, NA.
He has been a Baldwin director since 2001.
Nathe, chairman, president and chief executive officer has served as a director since 1987.
The company also elected Takayuki Miyaoku as a vice president.
Miyaoku has served as president of Baldwin Japan since 1999 and will continue to maintain an office at the Tokyo facilities.
He is responsible for the companys Asia operations, reporting directly to Gerald Nathe.
Miyaoku joined Baldwin in 1997, with extensive experience in the heavy machine manufacturing industry including Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.
