Baldwin Technology Company has won order from News Limited Group in Australia for Impact Global automatic blanket cylinder cleaning systems to be fitted on five new MAN Geoman presses.
Baldwin Technology Company has won order from News Limited Group in Australia for Impact Global automatic blanket cylinder cleaning systems to be fitted on five new MAN Geoman presses at the company's plant in Sydney The order follows the earlier installation of Impact Global on four upgraded MAN Roland Newsman double-width presses at News Limited's Murarrie print facility in Brisbane in 2003, as well as on six upgraded MAN Newsman 40 presses at the Westgate Park site in Melbourne in 2002

Baldwin Technology Company has launched Impact Global Flex Technology.
The new cleaning equipment will be installed on the new MAN Geoman presses at the Nationwide News's Sydney print production centre and will consist of 200 Impact Global units as well as the conversion of older Baldwin equipment on existing Geoman presses from dry cloth to Impact technology.
Peter Tkachuk, the managing director of Baldwin Graphic Equipment said: "Nationwide News, (formally Mirror and Telegraph Publications) purchased Z400 blanket cleaning systems from us several years ago and based on its tremendous results and productivity it is again placing its confidence in Baldwin to equip the new presses." News Limited Group has also installed Baldwin's Impact Global cleaning and Lithospray spray dampening systems at the 'Gold Coast Bulletin' in Southport (Queensland).
That order was for the units to be fitted to that site's KBA nine-tower Comet press.
