Triple Green uses industrial waste in its manufacture and consequently reduces the need for landfill and incineration, said Beswick Paper.
By using Bagasse, which is the dry fibrous biomass left after sugar cane stalks have been pulped, in its production, Triple Green is environmentally friendly as less energy is used in refining the fibres, the end product is more biodegradable and is easier to recycle.
In addition, sugar cane regenerates annually removing comparatively more CO2 from the atmosphere during its life cycle than trees, added the company.
And Beswick Paper explained that with Triple Green, the wood pulp used in its production is also Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) certified.
Triple Green is available from Beswick Paper either ream wrapped or bulk packed, in sizes SRA2 and SRA1 and in weights 115gsm, 135gsm, 150gsm, 170gsm and 250gsm.
