Retail media producer Bezier, has retained the prestigious point of purchase (POP) account for one of Britain's leading retailers, ASDA.

Retail media producer Bezier, has retained the prestigious point of purchase (POP) account for one of Britain's leading retailers, ASDA The £ multi million account is perhaps one of the largest retail media accounts in the UK and the agreement will further cement a 16-year working relationship between Bezier and ASDA

It will mean Bezier will continue to manage ASDA's whole POP process from production through to implementation.

The account will continue to be handled through Bezier's Wakefield operation by a team of 27 people, which includes a staff based at ASDA House.

Working in unison with ASDA, Bezier is able to collate and despatch around 16 million of ASDA's POP items per year and manage about 24,000 store orders thanks to its 290,000 square foot of factory space and 24-hour, seven days-a-week production.

The majority of work is manufactured in-house at Bezier Wakefield and specialist items are outsourced from a network of jointly approved suppliers.

Bezier also operates a store action helpline, which handles over 200 calls a day from stores seeking help or guidance.

Other specialist services from the company include a dedicated ASDA library and warehouse space, as well as a store services team who visit and advise ASDA store staff to ensure all campaigns are delivered and implemented to maximum effect.

In addition, Bezier has demonstrated it can offer value and has embraced ASDA's EDLC (every day low cost) initiative, making massive savings for the retailer.

Mark Williams, in-store communications manager at ASDA, said: "Despite a lengthy and thorough assessment of all areas of costs and service, Bezier again surpassed its competitors to retain the account.

I am confident we will continue to improve implementation levels and further drive down costs through innovation, e-commerce developments and operational efficiency.

Bezier has the capacity and expertise not only to consistently deliver high quality products but also to add value to the POP process.

They have proved this time and time again for ASDA by consistently creating and managing major UK wide campaigns, both planned and reactive, to the highest quality." Amanda Moss, commercial manager of team Europe at ASDA, said: "Bezier has delivered significant cost savings coupled with excellent service levels both in print supply and added value services at ASDA House and in store." Ian Carnazza, Bezier's sales director for the ASDA account, commented: "I am delighted that we have retained the ASDA account despite fierce competition.

To retain such a large and prestigious account is a credit to our staff and the inclusive, dedicated service our company provides.
