UK supermarket ASDA will kick off the Euro 2004 football tournament with in-store print campaigns orchestrated and co-ordinated by retail media specialist, Bezier.
HP Foods, which is owned by the Danone Group, will look to Bezier for all its in-store media for leading brands, HP Sauce, Lea and Perrins, Daddies, Amoy and Rajah.
Campaigns will include all types of Point of Purchase (POP) advertising such as posters, 3D merchandising units, in-store theatre, shelf strips and gondola ends.
Bezier will also be preferred supplier for HP's operational and corporate items from business cards to delivery notepads.
Bezier's first campaign for HP is currently in-store at a number of leading retailers.
It includes a 3D, five-shelf unit for HP's BBQ sauce, matching shelf strips and other in-store media.
Simon Kelly, services purchasing manager at HP Foods said: "The project team were very impressed with Bezier's performance throughout the tender process and we look forward to working with the company." Mark Shaw, managing director at Bezier's Wakefield site, said: "Bezier is delighted to have HP on board.
Marketing brands in store is now a key route to the customer and with an estimated 70% of the UK population visiting one of the five big supermarket chains each week it is an opportunity not to be missed.
We look forward to helping HP capitalise on this opportunity and get more from their retail media.".
