Retail media specialist Bezier has been nominated for three British P-O-P (Point of Purchase) Awards, one of which being for its vanilla scented dump bin for Coca-Cola Enterprises.

Retail media specialist Bezier has been nominated for three British P-O-P (Point of Purchase) Awards, one of which being for its vanilla scented dump bin for Coca-Cola Enterprises The dump bin, which was created to launch Coca-Cola Vanilla in store was designed and produced by Bezier using aroma inks

A curved design also gave the unit extra impact contributing to forecast busting sales of more than 300,000 cases of product in an eight week period.

The entry has been nominated for category four (snack products and soft drinks) in the awards where Bezier and Coca-Cola Enterprises are also nominated for their Legsey's Locker unit.

Legsey's Locker's design featured opening cardboard lockers which revealed card football shirts tied in with a promotional campaign to win premiership league football shirts.

Practicality and shop-ability were also considered in the unit's design, which allowed products to be merchandised and shopped from both sides.

It appeared in top end grocery stores throughout spring 2004.

In addition to the soft drinks section Bezier also hopes for success in category six (home and garden), where their permanent Cuprinol interior wood care range display has been nominated.

The display was designed to demystify the DIY sector, which is traditionally a category customers find difficult to shop, said Bezier.

It includes woodchips with product applied, use of colour to separate categories of product, customer flow charts to aid buying decision and a leaflet dispenser.

The campaign appears in Focus and independent DIY outlets.

Forecasts of Cuprinol's wood care range trebled following the unit's launch at the DIY show earlier this year.

Richard Courtney, managing director at Bezier's Bristol site, said: "We are delighted to have three nominations for such prestigious industry awards.

This not only reflects the high impact and quality design of our campaigns but also shows they can stand up to the rigorous effectiveness and compliance requirements nominees for these awards need to pass.".
