This leads directly to increased productivity, as the ink is easy to set up and run.

We already have some enthusiastic reports from converters who have seen considerable improvements in productivity and a great reduction in waste." He added that Lithocure 3G is a direct response to key needs identified by several of the offset customers who participated in thXsys's research project.

And Lidell continued: "The project group consisted of experts on UV offset chemistry, experts in narrow web press technology from XSYS Print Solutions, as well as the key people themselves - the printers - early on in the development process to design an ink that would genuinely be tailor-made for narrow-web UV offset."
