In response to narrow-web market demand, XSYS Print Solutions has expanded the range of patterns and colours available in the Holographink Process.

In response to narrow-web market demand, XSYS Print Solutions has expanded the range of patterns and colours available in the Holographink Process.

Holographink Process is a patent-pending imaging process, which is claimed to provide an eye-catching holographic effect, without the need to print on an expensive holographic material.

It can be used for decorative, brand recognition, security, or anti-counterfeiting applications.

The single-component process can create holographic colours and patterns, with fine detail and accurate positioning on a substrate, said Xsys.

It is claimed that image bond can be achieved on a choice of print substrates, including PE, PP and PVC, unsupported and in a self-adhesive laminate, as well as heat-sensitive films, papers, cartonboard and plastic tube laminates.

In addition to the standard range of holographic patterns and colours, XSYS Print Solutions said it also offers a library of ready-to-use holographic images, which can be licensed, with guaranteed exclusivity, to a single end-user company, which is useful to brand owners for product authentication.
