Bookbinding Firm Buys Wire Binding Equipment

A Binding Store product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team May 13, 2008

Abbey Bookbinding in Cardiff (UK) has bought a complete range of wire binding equipment from Binding Store.

The Renz systems include an AP-360 automatic punch, RSB-360 semi-automatic binding machine and a DTP-340A semi-automatic desk top punch.

Darren Cottrell, a partner of Abbey Bookbinding, commented: "Binding Store has always offered a prompt, efficient, professional service.

I am very pleased with the speed of delivery and quality of the binding equipment we have just bought.

We are now fully kitted out to offer trade wire binding and have already completed large jobs of several thousands of books.

I look forward to purchasing more print finishing equipment from the company in the future." Managing director of Binding Store, Russell Cunningham, said: "We are very happy to supply such a high quality wire binding system to Abbey bookbinders.

It offers the highest level of wire binding with a comparatively small footprint but without the high level of investment required for a large in-line model." Binding Store, which has been trading for 25 years, offers equipment for wire binding, laminating, shredding and print finishing and Cunningham added that the company is capable of supplying small manual machines up to large bindery systems that require high levels of automation.

The company can supply equipment from such manufacturers as Renz, D and K, HSM, Busch and Horizon.
