Entries for the 2005 BPIF educational scholarships will close on December 31 and potential entrants are urged to send in their applications before Christmas In 2005 the British Printing Industries Federation and the Printers Charitable Corporation will jointly make 12 awards of £2,500 each aimed at assisting deserving young people further their careers in the UK and graphic arts industries

The British Printing Industris Federation (BPIF) has added to the range of resources on its website with a new VAT advice page for members.
Applicants should be UK citizens aged 18-30 years old who are undertaking or wishing to undertake an approved programme of learning to further their print careers.

Judging will take place during February and March 2005 and the winners announced no later than May 1 2005.
