The company said that it has watched the software evolve at a rapid pace over the last three years.
The software was initially built to provide an on-line ordering and proofing product for Bluetree's in-house direct mail production process.
Bluetree said that it had no idea how advanced its technology would prove to be.
The company believes that today Bluestream demonstrates how a web marketing portal can deliver all sales and marketing materials to clients as well as allowing employees, resellers and those in sales channels to customise materials for targeted messaging, internally and externally.
With the software it is claimed that every client has their own customised marketing portal so that they can build and deliver personalised one-to-one direct mail campaigns.
It is also said that the software provides on-line database management, client contact management and email campaigns, as well as digital asset management, document collateral management and lead and response tracking with personal URLs on every produced piece.
All final output files are for digital devices or offset presses.
Bluestream is a web to print system that Bluetree believes that offers marketing teams, agents and dealers the ability to access collateral, direct marketing and advertising creation on-line.
Organisations can develop and manage templates on-line for advertisements, flyers, direct mail, catalogues, calendars, greeting cards, brochures and emails, whilst maintaining a consistent brand throughout.
Agents or dealers can then personalise information and design and order customised customer communications and marketing collateral from their desktops, decreasing turn-around and delivery times to as little as 48 hours, claimed the company.
Bluetree believes that as competition intensifies and traditional advertising models change, the market must adapt to a sophisticated consumer in a multiple channel environment.
The company added that Bluestream is a marketing system that connects personalised email, direct mail and the web systems to increase lead generation by a minimum of two to five times over traditional marketing methods.
Bluestream is said to integrate a company's customer relationship management (CRM) to target individual customers and market to them one-to-one.
It has the capability to merge database intelligence in to desired text fields (names, dates, customer facts and purchase history) for full personalisation.
The software is also claimed to reduce the time and resources needed to produce personalised sales and service promotions, newsletters, brochures and other communications by enabling users to combine free and variable text, pre-stored graphic images and static text.
Bluetree said that its approach streamlines the process and reduces the cost of developing multiple versions of product literature and marketing collateral, whilst helping companies exert greater control over branding.
At the same time it helps eliminate unnecessary printing and warehousing costs, as well as collateral obsolescence.
Bluestream uses existing PDF workflows on-line to improve production efficiency and significantly enhance lead generation with multiple channels, added the company.
