New Day Dawns For Blanket Technology
More than ever, printers must find ways to improve print quality, while at the same time, reduce cost, so for years, Day International said its R and D efforts have been driven by that pursuit.
In addition, printers will no longer need to switch from one ink type to the next or, use more than one type of ink on different printing machines.
Erez Shoshani, a director at Bordeaux Digital Printink, said: "Our new PRJ3 Match Series is fully compatible with Mimaki SS2TM OEM ink but with added value because it has been formulated with a colour gamut so close to OEM ink that there is no need to perform profiling.
This ink is strictly plug and play, eliminating flushing and the need to change pumps and tubing." He continued: "The PRJ3 Match Series can be mixed and matched with OEM ink, meaning that there is no need to throw away partial or unused OEM ink.
Converting is quick and inexpensive and the ink's fast drying time and high density prints also allow for high speed printing.
From indoor posters to outdoor signs with six colours, the PRJ3 Match Series make even the most creative choices available to the signmaker." Moshe Zach, Bordeaux's chief executive officer, commented: "Bordeaux customers will, for the first time, be able to mix and match colours using OEM inks that can be interchanged with Bordeaux inks to maximise ink consumption.
In addition, our plug and play range will eliminate the need to calibrate the printer when changing to Bordeaux inks.
We hope that our new line of products will revolutionise the way printers work with inks." Amnon Shalev, a product manager at Bordeaux, added: "Our constant research and development in to more cost effective inks not only enables higher productivity but also corresponds with our 'green philosophy, as every one of our inks comply with latest EU regulations.".
