First Print Buying Conference At Graph Expo In USA

Margie Dana, founder of Boston Print Buyers and Print Buyers International, will be the chair of the first print buyers conference to be held at the Graph Expo exhibtion in Chicago (USA).

The Print Buyer's Conference will present 'Buyer's insights on the new progressive print industry' on September 11.

Dana said it is designed to benefit all graphic arts professionals, particularly anyone who buys or influences the purchase of printing and it will feature seminars with interactive sessions.

The sessions will include one called 'Not your father's print shop: what every customer needs to know about today's printing', which will be presented by Margie Dana.

There will be a print buyer panel moderated by Dana, as well as a seesion on 'The state of print buying today, which will presented by Frank Romano, professor emeritus of RIT.

The president of Bizucate, Peter Muir, will lead a discussion on 'Buying the campaign: it's a lot more than print.

A former print buyer herself, Margie Dana is the author of an e-newsletter, Margie's Print Tips.
