New look for printing industry website
The BAPC has upgraded its web site with a total change in its look with greater emphasis on inter-activity.
In his nine years as chairman, Bobb has combined his role as chairman with owning and running companies in the printing industry but he will now focus his efforts on raising the profile of the industry as a whole, with emphasis on the growth and development of the BAPC.
"When I agreed to a two year stint as Chairman in 1995, I never envisaged how far we'd progress and I certainly never imagined that I'd still be here now.
Today we offer an ever increasing membership more support, more services and more benefits.
Backed up by European funding and with all the major industry suppliers with us, we are able to give the print community all the ammunition it needs to help it do business successfully," said Bobb.
He added that the BAPC also ensured that it represents its members' interests by making sure its voice gets heard throughout the commercial sector.
As a further part of the development process, the BAPC is relocating to a new HQ in north London.
With preparations well underway for the BAPC 25th Anniversary Conference at Marlow on October 8-9 2004, the BAPC said it is looking to achieve a landmark year.
The conference is entitled 'So, you think youûre a printer' and BAPC said that entertainers Ronnie Corbett, Bobby Davro would be there, along with top motivational specialist Jeff Grout.
