BAPC Tests Free Advice Programme For Printers
In order to help print companies to increase their business efficiency and profitability, the BAPC has announced a free advice initiative.
Earlier in the day members of the BAPC voted on supplier of the year, which was won by Canon UK whose digital printer, the CLC 3200, also won product of the year.
The BAPC's printer of the year award for 2004 was given to Resource Print Solutions of Leeds.
The BAPC Honorary Life Member award was presented to Jeff Hayzlett for his outstanding contribution to the industry.
Staged under the theme 'So you think you're a printer?' delegates attended a selection of 16 different business sessions, each tackling relevant and current business issues.
The workshops were followed by a dissertation from Tom Robinson of Express Printing, Peterborough - the BAPC's Printer of the Year for 2003 - who provided an insight on his business, including how he has been able to maintain year on year growth and significantly increase his profits.
Jeff Hayzlett from the USA gave a number of important pointers on how to improve performance in the print and graphic arts industry in today's market.
