The British Association for Print and Communication (BAPC) has formed a partnership with Ceridian, a provider of human resource services, to provide members with a managed payroll service.

The British Association for Print and Communication (BAPC) has formed a partnership with Ceridian, a provider of human resource services, to provide its members with a managed payroll service at what is claimed to be a discounted cost.

The Managed Payroll Service is said to be straight forward and looks after all payroll requirements.

Print business owners do not need to know anything about payroll they only need to provide basic information and Ceridian will do the rest, including, if required, paying staff directly.

BAPC said that the service frees up time so that owners can focus on their core businesses and have the peace of mind that they are complying with ever changing PAYE tax legislation.

Tony Honnor, association director of the BAPC, commented: "We understand the pressure that our members are experiencing in the current climate and are constantly looking at ways to help ease their burdens and of course save them money.

That is why we have collaborated with Ceridian, the UK's leading HR and payroll service provider, to offer a tailored managed payroll service at a very economical discounted rate.

Many of our members, who have asked for this facility, simply do not want the hassle of sorting out payroll issues and this is the ideal solution." The service includes access to payroll expertise whenever advice is needed, flexible payroll input by fax, e-mail, internet, or post, validation and security checking of payroll input before processing and payment direct to employee bank accounts and to HMRC through BACS.

It also includes starters, leavers and tax year ending processing, which are provided as standard.

BAPC members could also receive a tax-free incentive of up to GBP325 back from HMRC by filing their returns electronically before 2009 simply by using the service.
