Inserting System's 10,000 Cycles Per Hour

A Buhrs Group product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Oct 8, 2007

Buhrs UK has launched its BB300 Solo inserting system, with a claimed output of up to 10,000 inserting cycles per hour, for smaller and medium size letter shops.

The BB300 Solo is said to be a flexible mail processing system for envelope inserting, which offers letter shops the opportunity to accept high margin work, including C4 inserting, for example, without difficulty.

Buhrs added that the BB300 Solo can be expanded later to meet new demands by adding various feeders, such as folding, rotary, shuttle or vacuum and friction feeders, for example.

In addition, it features autoloader options, including an envelope autoloader.

A bypass bin on the BB300 Solo Standard and software are standard features and they differentiate the system from competitors' inserting systems, as the system includes at least some degree of error compensation, said Buhrs.

If, for example, a sheet is missing, or there is a double, those mail pieces are automatically forwarded to the by-pass bin, without interrupting inserting.

As a result, the system achieves good net output, with hardly any downtime.

John Ricketts, UK managing director of Buhrs, said: "We are so confident in the BB300 Solo that we are offering an extended warranty for either two years, or 20 million insertions, whichever comes first.

Buhrs customers can look forward to predictably low maintenance costs during the first two years of ownership and eliminate unpleasant surprises.".
