Communisis Takes Delivery Of 6 BB700s

Communisis, one of the UK's leading print and print management businesses, has taken delivery of a further six Buhrs BB700s in a deal valued close to GBP1m.

The latest inserting lines are part of a large Buhrs estate at Communisis's Leeds office, which has purchased ten BB600s and over twenty BB300s in the last decade.

Communisis' Leeds office delivers DM and transactional mail contracts for a diverse range of customers and posts over 700 million packs per year.

In the face of consistent growth Communisis selected the new inserting systems to provide additional capacity, integrity and flexibility.

The BB700 is Buhrs' flagship product in the envelope inserting range and offers a product size range from DL to B4 and a mechanical speed of 14,000 products per hour; the BB700 sets new standards in the multi-format segment.

The BB700 allows Communisis to accommodate thick booklets, up to 15 mm, and combines high productivity and flexibility, in terms of both mailing formats and mailing applications.
