And now this is managed faster than ever before by the new UV-Setter N 546 for newspaper printing, thanks to DSI technology, said the company.
The exposure of the printing plate and movement of the exposure heads is now one process.
Because of DSI, the exposure head of the UV-Setters moves continuously over the printing plate during the exposure process.
This so-called scrolling avoids the breaks in the exposure process, which are normally required to move the exposure head, resulting in an exposure process up to twice as fast.
DSI is now being implemented in the UV-Setter N 546 for newspaper printing, making it faster.
