Welsh printing company Cambrian Printers, has landed what is described as a massive printing contract with leading UK utilities group, British Gas.

According to the company, that, coupled with experience as a printer of books, magazines and scientific and medical journals, helped the company fight off fierce national competition to acquire the contract.
Robert Read, chairman of Cambrian Printers, explained: "An environmentally-friendly business strategy is absolutely critical and ours is proving to be a unique selling point.
For example, in ensuring that all the money from our energy bills is ploughed straight in to developing renewable energy sources, such as wave power, wind power and solar power, our clients know that they're dealing with a highly responsible, environmentally-aware company." He added: "We've been at the forefront of the printing industry for over 145 years now and this is one of our most prestigious business wins.
It's great to see our business strategy paying dividends and we're delighted to have British Gas on board." Mark Bugler, operational standards manager at British Gas, said: "Cambrian Printers is at the forefront of environmentally sustainable business practice.
