Digital Print Work Wins Printer Two
Awards
Two digital printing awards have been won by Cambrian Printers with the Digital Printer Award for marketing and collateral material, together with the British Book Design and Production Award.
Cambrian Digital - the digital printing division of the Aberystwyth's Cambrian Printers - presented its brochure as an example of the diverse printing capabilities of the digital printing facilities at the firm The brochure was designed, printed and finished in-house to demonstrate the features, effects and substrates that digital printing can support

It is possible to process a broad range of substrates, which gives designers and clients access to an increased range of visual effects.
Our award winning brochure is one example of how we can print on foil, acetate, 100 per cent recycled and a vast range of paper and card.
We've asked customers to compare a page within the digital brochure with an equivalent lithographically printed page and none out of 10 couldn't do so." Cambrian's award for the best digitally designed and printed book at the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) British Book Design and Production Awards drew comments from the judges, who said that the brochure presented by Cambrian Printers "showcased to maximum effect the possibilities of digital printing".
Carrick Wilkie, Cambrian's sales development director, said: "This has been a spectacular year for Cambrian Printers and these wins confirm our position as a market leader within the UK.
Cambrian Digital is a fairly new division within the company so it's very reassuring to be recognised as industry pace-setters.".
