Milford, having worked at Canon for more than six years, is said to have a wealth of experience.
Having previously looked after Canon's service proposition as services marketing manager he has an understanding of the importance of meeting customers' expectations of reliability and support.
His previous role was in channel marketing for professional print.

Milford succeeds Adam Poole, who makes the move to head of channel marketing for Canon UK.
Poole will remain a key part of the professional print team and the new appointment further strengthens the company's commitment to the industry, said the company.
Poole's main aim within his new role will be to ensure that Canon builds its reputation further to achieve number one position in the professional print market through a combination of channel and direct sales.
David Smith, marketing director for Canon Business Solutions, said: "Our continuing dedication to the professional print sector has resulted in us evolving and growing our professional team.
With Ben's expertise, we are aiming to build on our recent success and to drive growth within professional print.
Ben's in-depth knowledge of the industry, his proven track record across Canon Business Solutions, and his team-oriented management style will be a great asset to Canon's Professional Print team." Milford said: "Canon's unrivalled reputation for quality and innovation is seeing us grow and flourish in the professional print market.
This is a very exiting time for Canon and I aim to maintain the momentum that has been established and lead the professional print marketing drive this year and beyond." Both Milford and Poole will be heading Canon's presence at the Digital Print World exhibition in London (UK), where the company will be showcasing how its technologies can support all sectors within the industry.
There, Canon's stand will be divided in to three zones - commercial print, quick print and print on demand, and design studios.
Commenting on his successor, Adam Poole said: "I am delighted for Ben.
In 2006 alone, Canon has proved that it can deliver market-leading products and systems that exceed customer requirements and underline the quality of our brand.
Now, in my new role I will be working closely with Ben in order to achieve our goal of reaching the number one market position within professional print a reality, starting at Digital Print World.".
