Canon believes that portfolio of printers enables visiting customers to see a comprehensive print strategy in practice and view samples of the colour, large format and personalised printing capabilities the systems provide.
Visitors can also see demonstrations of on-line job submission and the range of finishing options available in either Mac or PC.
Canon has sold 10 Imagepress C7000VPs since the system was introduced launch and a further seven sales are expected by the end of this month.
Canon added that it also expects to more than triple its current number of sales of the press by the end of the year.
Ben Milford, head of professional print marketing at Canon UK, said: "Canon's professional print offering has flourished over the past few years and we are now a serious player in the industry.
We are delighted to unveil the new facility, showcasing our flagship professional products.
We are keen to show our commitment to this sector and our devotion to providing our customers with a complete range of systems tailored to meet their individual needs." The professional print showroom will become the centre for all large scale printing activity at Canon's headquarters, added the company.
Canon's site in Reigate is said to be environmentally based with solar roofing on all three buildings to generate up to 35kw of power and it features energy saving, heat-storing and air-cooling facilities.
