Canon-Duplo partnership secures Oxuniprint deal

Oxuniprint, the print division of Oxford University Press, has ordered the Duplo DC645 Production Colour Finisher to complement Canon's Imagepress C6000 press that Oxuniprint installed last year.
Ian Wilton, operations manager at Oxuniprint, said: 'Since the installation of the Imagepress C6000, we have been able to produce a much wider variety of short-run print.
'However, as we were expanding our digital print capabilities, we were experiencing a bottleneck in our finishing department.
'The purchase of the DC645, which we will use for CD and cassette inlays, as well as items such as business cards, will enable us to increase our production schedules and relieve post-press pressure,' he added.
