Print Control Pro from Carson Technical has been developed to make it easy for printers to achieve the ISO12647 print standard in-house automatically.
Using the printers' existing densitometry, Print Control Pro fingerprints the press, generates smooth tone reproduction curves and produces an eight-page comprehensive report, claimed Carson.
The rapid check module keeps all printing parameters within the ISO tolerance with a swipe of a stepwedge using a Gretag Eye One or X-Rite Pulse, added the company.
This system gives printers complete control over their processes without needing to enlist the services of the press manufacturer, CTP vendor or colour consultant, said Carson.
