Centurfax has formed a new company, Prova Digital, to promote the proofing software products from the former Pixelis company.

Centurfax announced the acquisition of the Pixelis Proofroom, Proofcreator, and the Digiseps products at IPEX earlier in the year.

The products will now be marketed under the Provaroom, ProvaRIP, and Provadigiseps names.

Provaroom is a Mac-based RIP-once-output-many proofing system which utilises the same RIPped file for both the proof and final output, removing the worry of missing or corrupted data.

According to managing director Bob Leslie, ProvaRIP is an independent, "'epro friendly' raster image processor that can be used in the creative market place to provide first-time proofs that can easily be matched at final output.

Equally ProvaRIP can be used within a repro company where the main RIP output can be easily matched.

This provides simple data integrity in a parallel workflow, providing even faster output.
